What We Love This Week! June 15th!

Copper River Salmon is here, and we plan to get it while we can--along with one of our favorite local wines from our neighbors at Arista Cellars in Edmonds-- (David is the best!)  The D2 from DeLille Cellars is superb and we will drink it with just about anything. 

 

Also featured is the Brakester from Gentle Souls (there will be an upcoming post) which we just received, and the Loop from French Sole is on its way in some fabulous fun colors and patterns! Yay for summer.

 

Also, the nautical theme is in this summer, so get ready for black (or navy) stripes to wear with your cute new flats

Kirkland Farmer's Market starts tomorrow!

Get excited!!!  We are crossing our fingers on good weather tomorrow- but regardless, all of Park Lane will be closed to through traffic from 2pm til 7pm for the First Wednesday of the Farmer's Market!  Drop by and say hi, and enjoy the tasty treats that will be down at our end of the street!

Our newest brand, Schutz is a HUGE hit! This espadrille, the Schutz "Helena" in Sugar Brown animal print screams summer fun, but is comfy! And at $150 they won't last long (we got them in a hour ago- and already reordered more since we sold 3 pairs already!)

Made in Brazil (ie. comfortable and well respected) this is a great wear and go shoe- perfect for a trip to the Greek Isles should you be so lucky!

Gooodbye Jennifer!!!!

Yesterday we said goodbye to our dearest Jennifer Ropell who was managing our Kirkland location.  While we will miss her Vegetarian antics and pretty smile, you may still see her around town- be sure to say hi!-- Once a mu.shoe gal, always a mu.shoe gal.

Jennifer is off to exciting new adventures with a company you may have heard of: Zulily-  We wish her luck and happiness in everything that she does! And if you work at Zulily- Be nice!!!

Corso Como "Hiho" $127 in Amber Calf

The "Hiho" by Corso Como makes me think of the streets of Hilo, Hawaii, where the 70's still rule.  I don't know why, but these comfy sandals scream "Sunshine".  The Hiho in amber is comparable to a 2" heel- as it is technically 3" with a 1 inch platform.  Super cute, and ultra comfy- also good for wedding season with that chunky heel for a edgy vibe.

Welcome to Corso Como.  You have probably seen these around town- and for good reason- they are affordable and comfy!  The "Jay" in nude is that perfect summer heel- great for weddings, goes with everything, and won't aerate the lawn as you walk on all that wet grass....

With delicate cutouts, and an angular stack heel of about 3" this is a great summer everyday heel for work or play.  Attention Dancers: this would be a great shoe for dancing- smooth leather sole glides on wood floors nicely... We've tried it out :)
