Gorgeous Nude Martinez Valero Sandal

Martinez Valero makes very beautiful and feminine shoes. We just got this gorgeous style called the "Corona" in the nude color seen here. They are very comfortable and the heel height is just right! There is a great cushion at the ball of the foot, which helps with the comfort factor. The leather wraps around only one side of the foot leaving the other side bare. It is a flattering line for the foot and with the nude color, you can put it with almost any dress or skirt outfit. It is the time of year where we are going to holiday parties and functions, which means we are dressing up. Remember a great shoe is a must have to complete the perfect holiday look!

Our favorite California flip flop designers have done it again and created something very chic and feminine to wear on our feet for winter- and affordable to boot! First Dibs in Edmonds!

Edmonds is having its annual First Dibs night this Thursday, December 3rd, from 5-9pm. It is a great community event and most stores stay open for it. Paul Green Winter Has Arrived!

We here at mu.shoe absolutely LOVE Paul Green shoes, and we know you do too. So far for Winter we have received the Paul Green "Darcy" which is an awesome 2 3/4" stacked heel waterproof boot. This boot was so popular the first time around, we just decided to get more in, and in Black too! If you don't own a pair of red boots yet- these may be the "it" pair for you! Very comfortable, and I can vouch for their sturdiness as I have worn mine in the recent thunderstorms walking dogs- and they have proved themselves worthy of Seattle winters.

La Canadienne Trunk Show Tomorrow!

We are so very excited to welcome Alan from La Canadienne to come and show all of us his fabulous warm, comfortable and waterproof boots tomorrow! If you are free in the morning hours or during lunch from 11-2 you can catch Alan at our Kirkland store just right down from Cactus. We will have some coffee and goodies for you to nosh on while you drool and try on boots! You can even test them out in the rain (as I am sure it will be raining tomorrow)!

Get prepared for the fall/winter wet seasons!

Living in the Pacific Northwest, we all know there is going to be rain. It is inevitable and there is nothing we can do to change it, but that doesn't mean we can't be prepared! It is imperative that you protect your suede and nubuck before stepping out into a downpour. I talk to a lot of people who are afraid to wear suede because they think their shoes will get damaged. The fact of the matter is if you protect your suede or buy suede that is already waterproof, there is no need to worry! It holds up like any other leather. We carry many lines that are waterproof/weatherproof such as Aquatalia, Hush Puppies, and LaCanadienne to name a few and for those lines that we have that aren't waterproof, we have a product. It's from a company call Kiwi and it is a suede and nubuck protector. It will keep your suede looking like new! It is also very important in this weather to condition your leather. We carry a product by Lexol that you can use on your leather bags and leather shoes to keep them in excellent condition. Get your shoes and bags prepared for the weather!
